Scott graduated from Murray State in 1986 with a Bachelor of Science in Biology/Chemisty.  He worked as a chemist at LaFarge for 4 years, then as an Oversight Specialist at Honeywell for 7 years.  He has been a business owner since 1997, when he purchased Subway/Steak Out Franchises.  Scott has been in real estate since 1992, and has been the broker/owner of Farmer & Company Real Estate since 2002 with offices located in Southern Illinois and Western Kentucky.  Scott has earned the CRS, GRI, & CSC designations, and was awarded the Life Ruby Award for Outstanding Sales Performance from the Egyptian Board of Realtors.  He is currently the #1 agent in units sold in the Egyptian Board of Realtors, which covers Southern Illinois from Effingham south.
